This modern, large, quality silver-plated wall crucifix is hand painted on a solid wood base, beautifully done with ornate gold and silver accents.The following are the figures in this crucifix: Top: St. Matthew (with the Angel) Left: St. Luke (with the Ox) Right: St. Mark (with the Lion) Bottom: St. John (with the Eagle) Above Christ: St. Catherine & St. Paraskieva Below Christ (left): St. Cosma & St. Damian Below Christ (right): St. Lieontij & St. Amfim Two seraphim (below Saints Cosma, Damian, Lieontij & Amfim) Traditional monograms for Christ are gold-plated: "ICXC" (at arms level) and "INRI" (between St. Catherine & St. Paraskieva) The style of the embellishments surrounding Saints Matthew, Luke, & John is early baroque. The five bluish stones are turquoise. Their size is 0.6 cm (1/4").
